Working out the anaomy of solenopsis (stinger not included in these images). I tried to get the post petiole correct based on reference from books and the interent, possibly I dodn't have quite the right scale or maybe it is to closely attached to the abdomen:

I think I need to round the top of the head more, may have gotten a little exaggerated during sculpting

Would high resolution photos of the post petiole help out? pretty common around here and getting some shots at a bit better than 3:1 is within my powers. What angles would be most helpful if so? My email is Seth dot burgess at gmail dot com if I could be of assistance.
